Saturday at the Boston Comic Con was crazy! Lines were around the block to get in, with some folks waiting as many as two hours to get in. Still, everyone seemed in very good spirits. And even though the costume contest wasn’t until Sunday, plenty of rock solid costumes were in attendance.
Tyler James is a comics creator, game designer, and educator residing in Newburyport, MA. He is the writer and co-creator of EPIC, a superteen action comedy, and Tears of the Dragon, a swords and sorcery fantasy, and writer of the upcoming superhero murder mystery mini-series THE RED TEN. His past work includes OVER, a romantic comedy graphic novel, and Super Seed, the story of the world’s first super powered fertility clinic. His work has been published by DC and Arcana comics.

[...] For me, the show kicked major butt. I had done a lot of prepping for the show, undertaking on a massive pre-order campaign which saw me do over 100 pieces of original art for the show. I stepped up my table set up once again (view video of my set up here.) Saturday, I was sketching pretty much the entire show, and moved a lot of books. And the Spider-man @ Fenway print sold like hotcakes. In fact, by the end of Day 1, I had already had my most successful con, more than doubling sales from last year’s Boston Comic Con.
