Getting Ready for my first Art Show!

I’ve been invited to participate in a comic book art gallery show, taking place in Stamford, CT later this summer.  While “Faster than a Speeding Bullet: An Exploration of Funnies, Superheroes and Comic Book Art” doesn’t kick off until August, I’m already pulling together the artwork I’ll have on display.   Obviously, I’m going to try to put a strong foot forward, so I’ll have a mix of art I’ve done over the past decade framed and on display.

As of right now, here’s a look at what I’m planning on putting on display:

These pieces will be up at the gallery for a solid month, and the event will culminate with an artist Alley on Sept. 10th.  So hopefully I’ll sell some pieces, sell some books, and get to talk comics with some great folks.

Full details for the event below:

Artists’ Alley gives cartoon and comic book fans the chance to meet and greet some of their favorite creators from the area, some of whom sell original art, sketches, and will be available to sign autographs…all at the UConn Stamford Art Gallery.
